ERIC GORDON:
Head coach and program director, Eric Gordon moved home to North Carolina after coaching age group and high school water polo in Southern California for almost 20 years. A long time head coach with San Diego Shores and The Bishop’s School, Eric led 14U, 16U, and 18U Boys’ teams and Girls’ teams to multiple National and High School (CIF) Championships. Many athletes went on to compete at the nation’s top collegiate programs and some were selected for the U.S. National Team. A few went on to compete at the Olympics.

NATE SAVOY:
Coach Nate started playing water polo in 8th grade at Wilson High School in his home town of Reading Pennsylvania. He played at the U16 Junior Olympics where he competed with the Pennsylvania Elite Team. In high school his team won 2 state championships and Nate was named first team All-State. In college Nate switched gears focusing on swimming for the Penn State Nittany Lions. There Nate was a 4-year varsity letter winner, 5 time All-American, Big Ten Freshman of the Year, Big Ten Champion, Olympic Trial Semi-Finalist and Team Captain. After Hanging up his goggles Nate returned to playing water polo for the Penn State Club team where he was named as an Honorable Mention All-American before receiving his degree in mechanical engineering in 2015.
