Athletes from all four of our locations are invited to come together for scrimmages and will be split by age and experience level.  The focus is on learning, team-building, and fun and no experience is necessary.  There is usually a game for beginner and intermediate athletes and also an advanced game and we like to rotate the group so that younger athletes can learn from watching the older athletes play.  New players, trial athletes, inactive players, and guests are welcome.

Our first “Super Bowl Saturday” Game Day is 2/8 in Greensboro at UNCG’s Kaplan Center.  All athletes will play from 11 – 1 and advanced players will stay til 2:00 and we can add pool time if we have a big group.   There is no practice at the Sportsplex on 2/9 because of a swim meet so it’s a free game day for active Hillsborough athletes.

Additional game dates are 3/1 @ UNCG, 3/15 @ Sportsplex, and 4/5 @ GAC.   Times are listed on the sign-up genius.  We are also considering adding Game Days on 3/29 @ NCSU and 5/3 @ UNCG but haven’t yet confirmed the pool time.   The cost for game days is usually $15 for active players and $20 for inactive athletes.  No payment is due until we have enough players signed up to confirm.

Game days are the first step towards tournament play.  Players who demonstrate a willingness to travel for game days receive priority consideration when building tournament rosters.
