Before enrolling, we encourage new athletes to join us for a free trial.
Step 1:
Join USA Water Polo
To ensure athlete safety and insurance, all athletes and coaches must maintain a current membership with USA Water Polo at the Bronze or Gold Level. Most regional competitions require a Bronze Level. To participate in National Junior Olympics or the Olympic Development Program (ODP) – a Gold Levell membership is required. All athletes ages 18 and over must complete SafeSport Training. Coaches must submit background screening and be CPR/First Aid certified.

STEP 3:
Buy a Ball
All athletes are asked to purchase and bring their own ball to practice. High school boys and men use a Size 5; High school girls, women, and middle school players use a Size 4, and players under 12 may want a Size 3 ball. Kap7, Winart, and Mikasa all make good quality balls in various colors and can be found online at SwimOutlet, S&R Sport, and Amazon. Be sure to write your athlete’s name on their ball before bringing it to practice.
