NC SELECT

Our Select Program is open to players from our four locations who are looking for higer level training and competition.  It’s for athletes who are committed to water polo and focused on individual improvement and group performance.  The program is designed to be a manageable commitment, but players must be willing to travel and prioritize water polo training. Without enough Select team players at each practice, higher-level drills and competitive scrimmages are not possible.

Select team members who meet the attendance requirements will receive priority invitations to all travel tournaments and will be provided with opportunities to travel to tournaments with other water polo programs. Our annual goal is to send teams and athletes to the Junior Olympics, and the Select Program is designed to prepare for this event and facilitate the process.

Travel to tournaments is not required to join the program and all interested athletes are encouraged to try a Select Team practice. The emphasis is on higher-level training, and the program is intended to raise the bar for our athletes.
